2011 Open Show Judge: Mr David Craig

It was a pleasure to judge this friendly, well organised breed club show where the whole committee, with Nicola Calvert at the helm, worked indefatigably to stage another excellent event. The main winners were of excellent quality with several of the highest placed exhibits no doubt knocking on the door for top honours and deservedly so.

1st Merrys' Anacapa Solo Flyer 10 years masculine l/w who is in magnificent condition, strong legs and good feet, very good through the body and rib, good topline which he held on the move where he went with real drive from strong hindquarters;
2nd Long & Leemings' Tryhard Opal b/w/t of pleasing overall type, well made with good neck let into pleasing shoulders, correct body and rib and pleasing head and eye, just not quite the muscle of 1;
